Andrey Belousov: "Blockchain is one of the priority technologies for development in Russia"

First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov said, that the development of the blockchain industry will become one of the priority tasks of the Russian authorities for the coming years.

In his speech before the Belousov Federation Council called a number of key technologies, which must be developed for effective interaction between the state and large corporations. We are talking about blockchain, quantum technologies, artificial intelligence (II), Internet of things (IoT), technology 5G, as well as new sources of energy and genetic technologies.

Belousov noted, that for the accelerated development of these industries, it is necessary to create a venture financing system with the involvement of private capital. The government has already received relevant proposals from several organizations and has begun to implement this initiative.
