Lombard Odier launches asset tokenization-focused investment fund

Asset Management Firm Lombard Odier Investment Managers, which is part of the bank Lombard Odier, launched an investment fund, focused on tokenization of assets.

The firm's management reported, that it began to implement this initiative back in May of this year and has already attracted $250 million, despite unfavorable market conditions. Lombard Odier added, that when investing, a deep analysis of digital assets is carried out, during which firms are selected, focused on real estate tokenization and blockchain use.

Of particular interest to the fund are companies, market capitalization of which is at least $500 million. Experts believe, that tokenization of assets increases liquidity and market efficiency, however, there are not enough firms in the stock market, specializing in this area.

Lombard Odier Investment Managers also reported, what is interested in all the latest technologies, allowing to improve existing financial services or create new. Experts are confident, that the future lies with new digital assets and tokenization, even if the public is not yet aware of such firms.

Formerly CEO of Circle Jeremy Ellair (Jeremy allaire) stated, that in two years, asset tokenization will become popular all over the world. Moreover, it will be possible to tokenize not only existing assets, but also future profit. Bitcoin enthusiast Mike Novogratz (Mike Novogratz) is of the same opinion - he believes, that real estate tokenization will become a new trend.
