Binance proposed a corporate method for developing the Malaysian cryptocurrency market – Bits Media

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao said, that the company is open to cooperation with Malaysian cryptocurrency exchanges, to accelerate the adoption of digital assets in the country.

Binance CEO and Founder Changpeng Zhao (Changpeng Zhao) spoke at the conference "Trends cryptocurrency market and future opportunities", organized by the Malaysian cryptocurrency exchange MX Global. He told, that Binance’s strategy to go global is based on the development of local partnerships with leading cryptocurrency companies in the countries where the exchange operates.

This approach will require greater efforts from Binance to create safe ecosystems for working with regulators. but, the exchange's efforts are ultimately justified, as they contribute to the mass adoption of digital assets in the country.

“Protecting users costs a lot of money in the short term, but in the long run it will be a big win.", - said Zhao. "Instead, to compete, tech companies and crypto exchanges in Malaysia need to work together, to spread information about crypto assets".

So, in March, Binance invested in the Malaysian cryptocurrency exchange MX Global. Previously, the Malaysian regulator demanded, for the exchange to close all cryptocurrency trading operations in the country.
