The largest cryptocurrency exchange of Binance closes its unit on the island of Jersey as part of a business reorganization.
The launch of the exchange on the island of Jersey-the largest in the Norman Islands in the La-Channel Strait-took place in January 2019 of the year. Then Binance Jersey offered users BTC and ETH trade against the British pound and euro in Europe and Great Britain.
Now Binance.com global exchange offers deposits in sterling pounds through the British scheme Faster Payments, and also supports payments for the system of unified payments in euro (SEPA). Besides, Binance offers trading couples against both currencies.
In this way, The increase in the number of services on binance.com "made the existence of Binance Jersey as a separate exchange irrational". Deposits on the platform will be disconnected 30 October, and trade and other services will be closed 9 November. All user accounts will not be available 30 November after closing the exchange.
Binance still supports the work of other local units, including a recently open Turkish exchange. The British branch of the exchange for institutional investors will be launched this year.
