During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Gazprom Neft and the Bitriver mining company concluded a partnership for cryptocurrency mining using concomitant gas.

Within the framework of the Agreement, Gazprom Neft will develop Electricity, burning concomitant oil gas.
