Cambrian Asset Management Launches Actively Managed Funds – Bits Media

Cryptocurrency investment firm Cambrian Asset Management announced the launch of two new actively managed funds - Cambrian Bitcoin Systematic Trust and Cambrian Ethereum Systematic Trust.

A feature of actively managed funds is, that they manage positions to avoid possible asset declines. I.e, sell and buy cryptocurrencies during market declines and rises. This reduces the risk of losses for investors.

“We are very pleased to introduce new opportunities for investing in digital assets. Investors have repeatedly asked us about the possibility of using our systems to actively manage positions in Bitcoin and Ethereum, to protect against volatility in the cryptocurrency market", - said Cambrian CEO Martin Green (Martin Green).

Cambrian uses high-frequency trading and multi-source data to drive profits. Since the start of the year, Cambrian's core fund has delivered investors 76% Profit, but, according to Bloomberg, the drawdown reached 70%.

According to Green, two new products could become the basis for a whole portfolio of new actively managed cryptocurrency investment funds. Such products are currently available only to accredited investors. He stressed, that retail investors will also be able to use these services, however, this requires regulatory approval.

A recent Fidelity Digital Assets survey found, that the vast majority of investors are interested in cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
