ConsenSys launches VillageDAO together with LivePerson – Bits Media

ConsenSys Company, developer of the MetaMask cryptocurrency wallet, launches decentralized autonomous organization VillageDAO, customer support-oriented.

ConsenSys and LivePerson, using artificial intelligence, entered into a partnership, to create a decentralized VillageDAO platform. The service is designed to satisfy the clients' need for, to contact support, when they have any problem. This feature is widely present in Web2 services, however, this is difficult to do on Web3 sites.

Cryptocurrency exchanges have their own dedicated customer service departments, however, many decentralized wallets and NFT projects do not. therefore, if the user encounters problems when transferring cryptocurrencies or selling NFTs, he is forced to turn to social networks for help. VillageDAO is designed to solve this problem.

According to ConsenSys Vice President of Customer Service Dror Avieli (Dror Avieli), The idea behind VillageDAO is, to create a decentralized group of experts, able to offer assistance to the growing number of Web3 users. DAO is a reliable way to connect different brands and companies, without competing with each other, says Avieli.

VillageDAO will offer various rewards to its experts, to encourage them to actively participate in the project and explore its products. The first product will be dedicated to MetaMask. According to Avieli, In the beginning 2021 year, the company recorded a “crazy” increase in the number of active wallet users, and along with it, requests for technical support.

Launch date not yet determined, but, according to Avieli, ConsenSys management hopes, that their idea will be of interest to other companies, who will also start working in this direction or join VillageDAO. Recall, that ConsenSys previously announced the successful completion of an investment round on $450 million, which raised the company's market value to $7 billion.
