Gaming platform Vulcan Forged
tweeted, What was subjected to cyber attack. Attackers hacked 148 wallets and stolen 4.5 million PYR tokens for $100 millions. The company reported, that hackers stole data about users' private keys, and she can't do anything.

“We are powerless to prevent hacking of users’ cryptocurrency wallets, whose private keys were stolen".

As a precaution, the team has moved to a fully decentralized wallet setup. The company advised users to transfer tokens to Metamask and assured, that the Vulcan Forged platform compensates users for stolen money. The platform has published the wallet address (0x48ad05a3B73c9E7fAC5918857687d6A11d2c73B1), to which user tokens were withdrawn, to prevent other protocols from being hacked.

The team contacted all cryptocurrency exchanges, so that they blacklist the hacker's address. The platform operator expressed hope, that information about the hacker may be stored on one of the cryptocurrency exchanges, with whom Vulcan Forged cooperates. Using this clue, the platform's security service will be able to begin an investigation and search for stolen cryptocurrency.
