National Chinese Platform Blockchain Services Network (BSN) enters the global market with a new product Spartan Network, supporting six blockchains.
CEO of Hong Kong company Red Date Technology, providing technical support and integration of new platforms from BSN to the global market, Yifan He (Yifan He) reported, that the Spartan Network product is scheduled for release in August 2022 of the year. The platform will include six public blockchains, not supporting cryptocurrencies. One of the blockchains will be a non-cryptographic version of Ethereum.
Yifan He admitted, that the lack of cryptocurrencies when using the Spartan Network is a serious problem. According to him, BSN will have a hard time promoting Spartan Network in the first year or two, since “most community members are only well versed in cryptocurrency blockchains”. He specified, that since the project does not use cryptocurrencies, then all transaction costs will be paid in US dollars.
“The goal of the project is to reduce the cost of using public blockchains to a minimum, so that more traditional IT systems and businesses can use blockchains as part of the infrastructure", He explained.
According to him, the global community may consider working with the platform too risky, which is supported by a Chinese state-owned company. Therefore, the developers provided open source, which users can check for backdoors (loopholes in the program code). Yifan He states, that the company will only have access to support the operation of the Spartan Network. According to the head of Red Date Technology, Spartan Network aims to promote non-cryptocurrency blockchains to the global market.
“We work with other major public blockchain protocols, to convince them, that public networks, not related to cryptography, are mainstream", He said.
Recall, that in February, the Chinese cryptocurrency project NEO, in partnership with Blockchain Service Network, announced the creation of the Jiuquan blockchain for issuing NFTs.
