The Ministry of Energy is once again trying to force miners to work only in regions with an excess of energy - officials suggested significantly to increase the tariffs for the transfer of energy for industrial crypto -facilities.

According to the sources of the publication "Kommersant", Now we are talking about raising tariffs only in those regions, where there is a lack of energy generation, or miners create an excessive load on the network. At the same time, miners in the regions can get under the blow, The most popular cryptocurrencies for mining - in Buryatia, Transbaikal Territory and Irkutsk region.

Now the tariffs for the transmission of electricity vary only depending on the voltage, but the same for any industries. However, within the framework of the new tariff grid, it is proposed to create a special tariff for miners. Moreover, the criteria, by which miners will fall under this tariff, not yet defined. Their development will be engaged in the Ministry of Energy, Mincifers and FAS.

To identify miners in each region, commissions may be created, which will determine the production of cryptocurrencies according to the even graph of electricity consumption, close to maximum power. Besides, Specialists will personally visit the premises of legal entities and study Internet traffic.

The publication reports, that the growth of tariffs for mining farms at high voltage in the Irkutsk region can be 18-73%, to 3,2-4,7 ruble for 1 kW per hour; In Buryatia - on 66-333%, to 4-11 rubles; In the Trans -Baikal Territory - on 33-133%, to 5-8,9 ruble. Such tariffs may well put a cross at the work of miners.
