Unknowns hacked the TerRarapORT project and stole about $4 million – Bits Media

Hackers hacked the Defi Terraport Finance project and brought 9,5 Milln Terra, 15 billion LUNC and 5,5 million USSTC. The amount of stolen is $4 million.

Terraport Finance reported on Twitter, What did the gap in the Terraport Liquidity wallet discovered. The project team assured, what is working on a solution Problems and Protocol Protection: 

“Currently, we are working with community members and large exchanges, To protect as many assets as possible and make wallets on the black list. All funds were monitored ".

The team asked Binance and MexC Global to freeze crypto assets immediately, since the stolen tokens were sent to these exchanges.

Terraport project was launched in March 2023 years by Terracvita developers for the revival of the Terra Luna Classic network. The platform allows users to exchange three tokens: Terra Classic (Lunc), TerraClassicUSD (UstC) и Terra.

Meanwhile, the Terra Luna Classic community expressed displeasure by hacking, stated, that this is a serious blow to the project and its reputation. Some of the participants accused the Terraport team of, that she did not audit the platform before launch.

The platform in January received funding in the amount $2 million. In the first week, the team successfully burned 100 Milln LUNC tokens.

Earlier it became known, that the decentralized exchange Sushiswap was hacked. Hackers brought more $3,3 Milln using a vulnerability in a smart contract for routing the Routeprocessor2 trade.
