Parity will also advise students and entrepreneurs, who want to launch their startup on the blockchain.

Partnership is based on UC's Blockchain Xcelerator Program, which was launched
in January 2019 years to support new startups and create a globally competitive blockchain curriculum. Since its inception, Xcelerator has helped launch 45 blockchain-related companies, including Acala.

Jocelyn Weber (Jocelyn Weber) from Blockchain Xcelerator said, that her group's work with "Parity and other Polkadot infrastructure startups has demonstrated the potential of this technology in educating our community.". She stated:

“We strive to introduce our students to the tools and skills, which they need, to work in the blockchain industry and immediately start contributing to it. Therefore, increasing their knowledge with the help of various tools, eg, Substrate, and networks like Polkadot, will be an important part of developing our curriculum ".

American universities are increasingly introducing blockchain courses into their curricula. In December 2019 years University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB) spent
