Kadena project announced partnership with Terra to develop Kadenaswap platform

Hybrid blockchain developers Kadena announced a partnership with South Korean stablecoin issuer Terra to develop and expand their decentralized platform Kadenaswap.

Kadena management stated, which will add the Terra-issued stablecoin LUNA to the Kadenaswap exchange, which is planned to be launched at the end of the year. Kadena hopes to attract various organizations and users with hybrid blockchain, looking for an alternative to Ethereum-based platforms.

Co-founder and President of Kadena Stuart Popjoy (Stuart Popejoy) noted, что перегруженность блокчейна Эфириума может помешать успешному масштабированию приложений DeFi. Considering, that Kadena's solution provides low cost and high transaction speed, it will increase the interaction of stablecoins, and will also improve the interoperability of Ethereum and Polkadot blockchains.

Co-founder and CEO of Terra Do Kwon (Do Kwon) reported, that Terra will be able to handle "hidden" LUNA transactions on Kadenaswap, and then connect to Ethereum. Kwon noted, that such a partnership will expand payment options using Terra stablecoins. The first phase of moving coins from one blockchain to another via Kadenaswap will start in 2021 year.

Note, that a few months ago the throughput of the Kadena blockchain reached 480 000 transactions per second due to the increase in the number of "forked chains" in the network to twenty. Besides, in May, the Kadena project integrated Chainlink decentralized price oracles to track cryptocurrencies in real time.
