One of the reasons for increasing the number of companies, which began to consider receiving payments in cryptocurrency, became the introduction of sanctions against the Russian economy and a whole list of individuals. Most often, companies use bitcoin, ether and stablcoins (USDT, USDC).

The Russian branch of the international human rights organization Transparency International has found, that Russians most often use Tether usd stablecoins, to send money abroad bypassing sanctions.

It was Tether that Russians bought up at the end of June during an attempt by the armed rebellion Evgeny Prigozhin. And the Bank of Russia said, that citizens, which use cryptocurrencies to store savings, more, than using metal accounts and share of investment funds.
