Registered in Abkhazia 65 mining farms

The authorities of Abkhazia continue to introduce regulation of mining on the territory of the republic. As of 10 September in Abkhazia was officially registered 65 mining farms.

At the end of last year, it was reported, that the authorities of Abkhazia plan to strengthen activities to identify illegal mining farms. Not so long ago a ban on mining was lifted, but with the condition of registration of the farm at the regulator. In case of refusal to register with mining farm operators, they will impose a fine and ban the relevant activities.

"Naturally, Not all registered, But at the moment, work is underway to identify farms, whose owners did not apply ", - said Deputy Minister of Economics of Abkhazia Teimuraz Mikvabia.

To register as a person, involved in the prey of cryptocurrencies, Operators of mining farms need to register as an individual entrepreneur or legal entity and register with the tax inspectorate and other state departments. To facilitate registration, The Ministry of Economy of Abkhazia holds consultations and provides the necessary information within the framework of the "hot line".

In the first six months 2020 years in the republic were imported mining equipment in the amount 42 million rubles. Recall, that the ban on cryptocurrencies in Abkhazia was introduced at the end 2018 year due to a lack of electricity to ensure the population.
