In September, four suspects, two of which have not yet been fulfilled 18 years old, a metal container was broken into in the village of Granovshchina, Irkutsk region. From there they stole ASIC miners with a total value of 2 million rubles. By reviewing surveillance camera footage and checking potential locations where equipment was sold, investigators and police officers were able to identify and apprehend criminals.

The organizer of the theft was a 25-year-old local resident, who offered his accomplices money for help in a crime. The stolen equipment was found in the house of the main defendant in the case. Law enforcement agencies managed to seize about two dozen mining devices. Now the organizer of the theft is under house arrest, and the rest of the participants in the crime were chosen as a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place.

The participants in the crime were charged under. 4 Art. 158 UK RF (theft on an especially large scale and by an organized group). The maximum penalty under this article is imprisonment for a term of 10 years old. The judge may also impose a fine of up to 1 million rubles.
