In Thailand, armed men robbed the team of the Russian project Cryptus – Bits Media

Co-founder of the Cryptus project Nikita Grishunin said, how robbers took away two members of his team in Phuket $25 000 in cryptocurrency.

An armed robbery happened some time ago in the evening, when two of Grishunin's colleagues were returning home. Three unknown people attacked completely suddenly, forced into the car, tied up and taken to the jungle. Threatening with a gun, kidnapped and demanded young people to transfer $100,000 to the specified account.

Team members refused, then the attackers forced the guys to open access to cryptocurrency wallets on their mobile phones and forced their victims to transfer $25,000 in cryptocurrency to their crypto wallet in two transactions.

After this, the robbers took their victims to the highway and released them.. In the dialogue between the boys and the robbers it became clear, that the victims were to be Grishunin and another co-founder of the project. The Cryptus team decided to conduct its own investigation. The Russians came to the conclusion, that their friend, which claims, that he is not to blame for what happened, gave information to the robbers, who helped organize the kidnapping.

The team gave the details of an acquaintance to local police. According to Grishunin, Thai law enforcement officers are now preparing to issue an arrest warrant for the suspect.

Last year in Moscow, a robber and his accomplices pretended to be a buyer and stole $1 million from a USDT seller.
